SaveIl comune di Calestano ospita tre percorsi cross country tabellati (Ciclopista MTB) e diversi trail enduro e downhill (tabellati e non) trail builder e shuttle ALPICELLA BIKE PARK Instagram @alpicella_bikepark che costituiscono una riding area di primaria importanza nell'appennino parmense. Nel territorio di Calestano si svolgono annualmente due eventi di grande importanza: la Montagnana MTB Gold Race (Granfondo nazionale) e il raduno non competitivo Tartufo Bike che ogni anno attira circa 500 partecipanti. Un altro appuntamento di grande richiamo è il raduno non competitivo "della Resistenza" che si svolge il 25 aprile di ogni anno.
Nel 2017 e 2018 Calestano ha ospitato una tappa del circuito Superenduro.
Servizio Shuttle disponibile presso il B&B L'Avamposto di Alpicella (strada per Canesano) e CAFFETTERIA CENTRALE anche servizio deposito bici con telecamere. Presso il bar Antico Cafe di Calestano in via Mazzini è installata una piccola parete attrezzata dove i bikers bisognosi di assistenza per il proprio mezzo possono trovare una colonnina con attrezzi attrezzi e una pompa con manometro.
La UISP di Parma organizza sui sentieri di Calestano ogni anno a primavera dei corsi di all'All-Mountain e Enduro adulti e ragazzi.
