Single track through riparian vegetation, beautiful ride. There are three loops. The eastern most loop is very technical and for advanced to expert riders only. The middle loop is faster and more intermediate. The nature trail loop (about 6 miles) that follows around the lake could be ridden by a person with low to intermediate skills.

There is one beginner trail (Sugar Cane Trail) that is about 4.5 miles long – it goes around the upper lake. It is fun and not too technical. The other two trails are intermediate+ (Kona’s Run and The Lost Woman) with a few advanced sections.

      Access Info:
I-20 East to Minden, then go North through town. Turn right (east) at the main boulevard. You’ll see the courthouse on the left. Go a few blocks and look for the small sign directing you to turn left. That should be Lewisville Rd.(159). Follow that road north roughly 4.5 miles, then turn west onto Parish Road 111, drive 2.3 miles, enter the park on left. The sign at the pay booth shows map of trail head. If you park at the boat launch, instead of the trail head, there are bathrooms there.
