SaveThe majority of the land in this riding area lies in the town of Norton, with a small portion of it being located on Easton Water Department land.
Most of the land where these trails are located is owned by an independent non-profit organization (Land Preservation Society of Norton - "LPS") chartered in Massachusetts in 1970. Its sole purpose is to preserve land, water resources, and wildlife habitat for the residents of Norton. Some of the trails are also on Norton town conservation land.
In general, this land offers some pretty decent flow, that is sandwiched between two large and blown-out dirt bike zones. If you can stay on the quality singletrack, you will have fun. Also, this area can be easily connected with the adjacent Wheaton Farms for even more miles.
Notes from the LPS:
This nature preserve exists only due to the efforts of the LPS all-volunteer organization, generous donors, and other volunteers who work to preserve and keep the land open.
LPS property is not owned by the Town of Norton and is not taxpayer supported. It IS conserved land but is NOT Town conservation land, and therefore has different regulations.
The LPS property is open to the public from sunrise to sunset.
