SaveCarrabassett Region is the geographic area in Maine served by the Carrabassett Chapter of the New England Mountain Biking Association (NEMBA).
Carrabassett NEMBA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the creation and maintenance of a sustainable multi-use trail network in the western mountains of Maine, largely based in Franklin County. Our goals are to promote wellness by increasing the use of regional trails, to link communities and to support local businesses.
We work closely with landowners, local governments, and other organizations to preserve access to sustainable trails for mountain bicyclists. We sponsor events to endorse outdoor recreation, attract new riders to the area and educate the mountain bike https://www.facebook.com/pg/crnemba/about/?ref=page_internalcommunity to ride sensitively and responsibly in order to preserve the environment and respect landowners as well as other trail users.
