Trails from Big Elk Mountain south to Tin Cup Pass and Highway 34 within the Soda Springs Ranger District of the Caribou - Targhee National Forest.

The Central Caribou Highlands offer mostly primitive non-motorized singletrack. Trails are often narrow, rough and not regularly maintained. This area is commonly used by equestrians and sees little traffic otherwise. Some trails can be impacted by grazing stock and sheep drives. The primitive trail conditions are overshadowed by a feeling of remote adventure across a wilderness-like landscape. This area is not fast, buff, or well maintained.

This is mosquito country; springtime and early summer can be especially bad!
