City of Corvallis park on the north side of Corvallis. Wide "trails" that are essentially dirt roads lead from the main parking lot both clockwise and counterclockwise up to the top. From the top there are good views of the valley, coast range and the Cascades. All trails are multi-use with some seasonal designations. Generally best to avoid these trails when wet as they get quite muddy.

Currently recovering from a white oak restoration project, and several trails are temporarily closed, with some permanently close.

Parking access on Lester Ave, and trail access via the McDonald Forest to the north and west and the Timberhill Natural Area to the south. 29th St and surrounding neighborhood streets provide multiple routes of trail access through Timberhill Natural Area up the hill to Chip Ross.
      Primary Trail Type: Cross-Country
