SaveThe West Cuesta Ridge area includes public land to the north of Cal Poly and a section of the Los Padres National Forest. The bigger, gnarlier rides in the area are found here. Upper trails (i.e., Shooters, Botanicals, Morning Glory, etc.) are very chunky, rocky, and often loose. Lower trails tend to be less rocky. The Eucs is a freeride area within the West Cuesta Ridge trail system with some great jump/freeride style trails. Shuttle services are provided by Bike Church Shuttles, which can be found on Facebook. ( https://www.facebook.com/BikeChurchShuttles/ )
