With its Trailhub located at All Out Adventures, Drakensberg Trails offers over 100km of exclusive single track in the heart of the spectacular Northern Drakensberg Mountains. Experience the best of riding and trail running in South Africa, all within a secure and safe environment; reliable colour coded trail markings; a variety of trails for all skills levels; and spares, repairs and full suspension bike rentals available at All Out Adventures, centrally located to the whole trail system.
Our trail system can be accessed from several "On The Trails" accommodation establishments, to suite every pocket and taste, making it very convenient for riders and runners. Follow the links in the Region Supporters & Maintainers section below for more information and reservations.
While riders can create their own routes using the Trailforks App, there are five marked routes that are colour coded, and rated for different abilities. These Routes are also available in the Trailforks App:
1) Green Blazes: Gypsies Bend, Easier, 15km, 206m elevation gain.
2) Blue Blazes: Montusi Gorge, Intermediate, 25km, 465m elevation gain
3) Red Blazes: Grotto Trail, Difficult, 22km, 480m elevation gain.
4) Black Blazes: Nook ROad, Difficult, 36km, 950m elevation gain.
5) Purple Blazes: Berghouse Trail, Difficult, 40km, 950m elevation gain.
MTB Rentals:
All Out Adventures has a fleet of 26” full suspension Bergamont Contrails for rent.
Spares and Repairs:
Staff at All Out Adventures can assist with basic repairs & basic spares are on sale.
