SaveElkhead State Park is 20 minutes northeast of Craig, CO and offers a small network of trails, camping, boating, and fishing. These trails tend to be rideable earlier and later in the season than those further up the Yampa Valley and provide a fun winter/mud season escape. They are all family friendly and provide great views of the Elkhead and Park Mountains to the North. Come check them out
