Dry | Sep 2, 2022 @ 7:13pm Sep 2, 2022 | We used this trail to connect the GWT to Hell's backbone road. Trail finding is not that obvious in some places, but there are quite a few rock cairns to help. Clear of trees and rideable, but pretty rough and rocky. There are a couple of little jumps which are fun. There was some accumulated debris on the trail from heavy rain events.

Dry | Sep 2, 2022 @ 7:00pm Sep 2, 2022 | Mostly clear of trees, I think we needed to walk around one large one, and there are some smaller ones you can ride over/under. Very technical rocky sections on the upper portion of the trail that are more black than blue, but it is a fun ride overall. Currently only rideable as an out-and-back because the trail disappears shortly after the Dougherty Basin Trail turnoff. It seemed to be at least partially marked by cairns, but isn't rideable past that point, so don't expect to link it up with GWT: pine creek.

Unknown | Jul 9, 2022 @ 8:40am Jul 9, 2022 | Griffin point trail and whites creek has been cleared.
Unknown | Sep 2, 2022 @ 6:47pm Sep 2, 2022 | Trail completely disappears in a dry creek after about 200 meters. We spent about 10 mins looking around for where it might continue but couldn't find it and gave up.

Dry | Sep 2, 2022 @ 7:08pm Sep 2, 2022 | Trail does not exist at the intersection with FR 140, despite being signposted. We picked it up at the next road intersection around 37.949669 -111.821425 following the aquarius trail GPS track and managed to connect it to the GWT: Pine Creek section. Route finding was difficult: there's a point where the trail enters a wash and disappears. It took 10 people about 30 mins to find it on the other side: it follows the creek around to the right.

Unknown | May 22, 2022 @ 9:17am May 22, 2022 | Large tree down across trail, blocking trail in several locations in the upper part of whites creek. The lower section is clear. The gate at the bottom will be locked until June but you can still hike or ride up to access whites loop or whites out and back. |
