      The Montmorency forest is a National forest managed by ONF, situated 20km Northwest of Paris. It is 2200ha big and spans 8km NW to SE. It is covered in chesnut trees (70%, oak trees and pine trees.
      Easily accessible by car (A15-A115 - Taverny or St Leu exit) or by train (St-Leu or Domont stations), it is a very popular destination for the parisian bikers, hikers and trail runners.
      It has a very well maintained and developped trail network. Beware that it can be muddy after rainy days. Better go to Fontainebleau or Saint-Germain forests.
