TF lists this as a black diamond but IMHO it’s closer to a blue or even a green in terms of difficulty. This is a loop but interestingly the signage differs by direction; East is white and west is red, but they all begin and end at the same point. A few fun natural rock features here - elevation changes are stacked moston the west side, so if you prefer downhill to climbing start in the west (red) direction.

Like all of the trails at Garnet Hill, the length on this one is “just right”. A little more challenging than the log house loop, but not as serious as double downs. Switchbacks are very smooth- can’t tell from the leaf litter but they seem like they may be machine made. A fun ride - signage is poor compared to others in this system but still easy to follow even this late in the fall. Recommended.
