Gateway Green is Portland’s very first bike park The design of the park incorporates features and riding space for a wide range of experiences.
Singletrack Trails
Although known for it’s vibrant cycling culture, Portland has fallen behind other cities relative to access to natural surface singletrack trails. Gateway Green will help close this gap by providing new singletrack built specifically for off-road cycling.
Bike Skills Area
The bike skills area will provide challenges for riders of all levels, helping to build skills and stamina. Riders can practice riding the pumptrack, jump lines and technical features in the park.
Gravity Area
Using the existing topography of the park, this visible and compelling riding component will consist of progressive “flow” and jump lines where riders can translate practice in the skills area into trail riding.
