The Town of Grafton has an extensive network of protected open spaces hosting a wide and varied network of multi-use trails for non-motorized use, including hiking, trail running and biking, and in winter, snow shoe and cross country skiing. These open spaces are variously owned and managed by the Town of Grafton, The Grafton Land Trust and various private land owners.

The Grafton Land Trust maintains an active network of volunteers from the hiking, biking and equestrian communities, who work with the Trust, the Town of Grafton and private land owners to maintain the trails. New volunteers are always welcome - to get involved please follow the link below.

In addition to the information on this site, the Grafton Land Trust website has detailed descriptions and maps, including trail maps, of all of the conservation open spaces and properties in town (link below).

All trails in Grafton are open for non-motorized multi-use and hikers, trail runners, equestrians and mountain bikers peacefully co-exist on our trails. The only exception is the Williams Preserve, which is the only property in town where wheeled-use is not permitted. Please respect this exclusion at all times. When you encounter other trail users please be courteous and say hi. Please always respect the right of way of other trail users and yield appropriately, especially when encountering horses. They scare easily!
      Disclaimer:
While these maps are maintained by Grafton Land Trust volunteers on behalf of the community of Grafton, it is a community resource and anybody is welcome to contribute content to improve accuracy and help build out the maps. Trailforks users are, in particular, encourage to submit trail reports. This can be done from within the App on the trails and can include a photograph as well as the specific location.
