SaveForestry Commission (FC) forest with currently only one officially maintained mountain bike route, the Guisborough Forest Blue Route. There are however a number of unsanctioned trails in the forest, including parts of the old Black Route which has had work to regrade it to a FC "Red" grade, namely the Lee's 1, 2 & 3 trails. However, currently, there are no plans to open any more official trails or routes.
