SaveHemsön offers several beautiful trails and varying scenery. Most trails are natural and not created with machines. Full suspension MTB can be hired at Hemsö Kajak, see link below. There are two old military fortifications on the island. One of them is now a museum with a restaurant with magnificent views of the Bothnian Sea. The second fort, Havstoudd, is on the island's northeastern tip. There is no grocery store on the island.
