The Hillside trails were the first development by the Singletrack Advocates here in Anchorage in 2008. These trails were all hand built, the development view of these trails was to have technical single track for mountain biking only accessible to all within the city limits.

Phase Two Hillside Trails were just finished fall 2018. Please RIDE SMART: Pre-Ride, Re-Ride, Free-Ride. For safety, hiking on the one-way downhill trails is not recommended. Hiking is okay on all other trails.
      Primary Trail Type: Cross-Country
      Shuttleable: YES
      Land Status: City Managed
      Access Info:
The outside parking lot for the Hilltop ski area/cross country ski trail is the main parking. Secondary parking is at Prospect Heights and is the short shuttle parking area.
