Start by heading north on Batchelor Hills Drive out of Kamloops. This will turn into the Lac Du Bois Forest Service Road. Follow this for about 16.5 kilometers. Watch for logging trucks and other industrial traffic. Turn right just after the 16 km marker onto the McQueen Lake Forest Service Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers, go past the McQueen Lake Educational Center, to a small parking area at the end of the Beers a Waitin' trail. If you have a two wheel drive vehicle you can park well off the shoulder of the McQueen Lake Road somewhere before the Educational Center. Please leave the area near their gate and entrance clear of vehicles at all times.
