SaveJackson Hole is on the east side of Teton Pass. It includes the towns of Jackson, Wilson, Teton Village, Hoback Junction, Kelly and Moose. Here you will find the Greater Snow King and Cache Creek Area trails, Teton Pass trails, Teton Village trails, the Gros Ventre, Wyoming Range and Hoback area trails. Jackson Hole has an extensive bike path system, allowing mountain bikers to easily ride to trailheads.
In 2014, Teton Region was granted Silver Level Ride Center status by the International Mountain Bicycling Association.
Western fur trappers referred to large valleys as "holes". Jackson Hole is the valley between Hoback Junction and Jackson Lake, including Jackson Hole Ski Resort. The town in the middle is simply named Jackson.
