The JQS/Hubbard Mesa area is located on the northwest boundary of Rifle, CO. It is over 2500 acres designated by the BLM as an Open OHV area. There are over 50 miles of singletrack, and the trail network continues to grow as users add more trails. It is a high desert environment of junipers, rocks, and adobe-based dirt. Most of the trails are shared with motos, so the singletrack is not always pristine, but there are berms to rail, and whoops to pump & jump.
Primary Trail Type: All-Mountain & Downhill
      Shuttleable: YES
AKA: JQS, The Rez, The Jake, Hubbard Mesa
      Access Info:
Take Fravert Reservoir Rd. off the Hwy 13 bypass. Group rides often leave from the Y next to the gas compressor station, or further up the road at the fenced-in BLM parking lot.
