Trail Flow (Ridden Direction)
Trailforks scans users ridelogs to determine the most popular direction each trail is ridden. A good flowing trail network will have most trails flowing in a single direction according to their intension.
The colour categories are based on what percentage of riders are riding a trail in its intended direction.

SaveThe Kampenwand is 1669m high mountain and is one of the highest mountains in the Chiemgau alps. Not only is it a popular place for hikers,rock-climbers and paragliders it is a great place for mountainbikers as well.
Besides 2 hiking trails that are very nice to climb and descend on there are a few secret trails with some challenging trail feautures. The positve thing about these trails is that they are mostly only used by MTBers. So you can shred down the trails and the only thing you'll hear besides your hub are some birds singing on the trees or a waterfall rushing down the mountain.Like I mentioned earlier you most likely won't meet anyone besides a fellow mtb rider or a deer running around in the woods with its children.Enough about downhill.
To get those legs burnin' you can either take the "Kohlstattweg" which is a gravel road that continues to almost the top of the mountain. It is mostly steep and has a few (literally) breathtaking super steep parts. If you ain't ready to have that much pain before the pleasure you can begin at the gondola station, follow "Am Hofbichl" until the gravel road starts, ride on it for about 400m (its steep on a few places) then turn left to the "Reitweg" (second intersection) and climb on it until you reach an very steep asphalt road. From that on you (try to) pedal to the "Sulten Trail" follow it up the mountain and find yourself on the gravelroad (its asphalt only at the steep part) that leads to a good restaurant called "Steinling Alm".If you want some better quality bavarian food take the "Panorama Weg" that is an apprx. 500m long doubletrack with a breathtaking view over the Chiemsee to a restaurant called "Sonnenalm"
and enjoy your beer with a fantastic view.If you are only interested in going downhill take the gondola that cost about 20 Euros.
