SaveKersbrook Forest Mt Gawler road
There are currently 6 existing MTB trails which have been rebuilt overtime and maintained after the Sampson Flat bushfire in 2015. There are currently 5 downhill tracks with the trail head being the top carpark at the cross road of Mt Gawler Road and Airstrip Road, Kersbrook. Kersy Koasta 2.0, Happy Trails, Jumps Revamp, Multi-Gaps and Senduro. Cross Rutted can be found via a short ride along fire road MG21.
There are 2 climbs back to the top of the trail head, the fastest but less scenic is straight up fire road MG23. The XC climb (Dead Man’s Climb) is 2.37km long with 98m of elevation climbing goodness; it starts off fire road MG23 approx 50m south of the intersection of fire road MG23 and MG22.
Please remember to only ride on the West side of Mt Gawler Road.
