<note>Best if done in opposite direction. The big issue on this trail is Ashley Creek. It's in a 100 foot gorge without a trussell. Here you have to work your way down the hill to the highway and follow it towards Kila to the next road. You can follow this road back up to the train-bed. After that there are only a couple minor things. You come to Dower Draw road and then to Jackson Meadows road. You can exit here or fight a falling and wandering fence line a short distance till you reach the highway.</note>

<note>There are several no-trespassing signs but the railroad holds the right of way for the path. It could be best to access the trail where it crosses Idaho Hill road. From there to the Ashley lake road is smooth sailing except for passing through a shooting range.</note>
