La Pine State Park trail system is a "multi-use" park. Many people will hike, bike, or run it and on occasion you will see horses on the trails, so stay alert and be courteous to everyone.
The dirt trails are relatively flat with a few accents/descents along the way. They meander in and throughout a tall stand of Ponderosa Pine trees and have many scenic views of the Deschutes River. It is a great system for all ages, experiences and abilities. Have a wonderful time
FYI, pets are welcomed but MUST be kept on a leash and picked up after!
