      C’est à plus de 500 mètres d’altitude sur un emplacement boisé de près de 1 200 000 mètres carrés, situé à Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, qu’est aménagé le Centre récréotouristique des Hautes Terres.

      Le Centre récréotouristique des Hautes Terres a débuté ses opérations avec l’ouverture des pistes de glissade sur tubes le 9 janvier 2022. Mais le projet remonte à quelques années auparavant. En effet, c’est en 2012 que le promoteur M. Clermont Vallée a l’idée d’offrir des activités récréotouristiques et un lieu de villégiature sur des terres qu’il avait acquises plus tôt.

      En 2019, un groupe de résidents de Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval se mobilise pour créer un OBNL qui aura la tâche de développer le projet et obtenir le financement nécessaire. 3 ans et près de 900 000 $ plus tard, après une première année d’existence, Le Centre est bien implanté dans la région et s’impose de plus en plus comme un incontournable.
