Leysin is a Swiss commune in the canton of Vaud, located in the district of Aigle at an altitude of 1200m. A mountain municipality, it is located in the Vaud Pre-Alps, located in the Vaud Alps massif.

The station, whose village is listed on the Federal Inventory of Built Sites to be Protected in Switzerland, is connected by road and by train from Aigle.

From the summit of La Berneuse to the village of Leysin, 700m. of difference in altitude to be ridden on a downhill bike await the riders. Evolutionary challenging trails, terrain layout for more adrenaline, everything is set up for breathtaking runs.

Having hosted the World Downhill Championships in 2000 and 2002, Leysin offers a natural product for all downhill and enduro enthusiasts. The commune's extensive network of hiking trails also offers all-mountain lovers a magnificent playground.

The downhill slopes start from the summit of the Berneuse at 2048m, above the village of Leysin which is 700m lower.

To get to the start, nothing could be easier, the La Berneuse cable car leaves from the centre of the village and reaches the top of the slopes in a few minutes. This saves riders valuable time and allows them to continue their descents.
