SaveWrentham and Norfolk town conservation land that starts in a parking lot shared with a model airplane club named the Lazy Loopers (the sign is a good landmark to keep an eye out for when trying to find the lot).
There's plenty of fun, fast, and flowing beginner-graded trails, almost all of which are in great condition with "pump track" features thanks to plenty of moto riding in prior years (and once annually during a special-permit race).
Although somewhat light on expert terrain, Cultivator is an odyssey of a run that will test even the best riders, with Dinner Roll and Playridge offering compact rock playgrounds that are easily lapped. Also, experts will have a blast hammering the easier trails and making the most out of the subtle terrain features.
Perhaps the best aspect of Lind Farm is its ability to develop better riders. There are plenty of wide open green trail to cruise around on. Early intermediates will have a blast on Lazy Loopers, Pumped Up, Norfolk Shire, and Fern Curves.
For those wanting to practice easier rolls, try Dinner Roll and Mini Roll.
Sadly, this riding area used to be twice as large, but many trails were lost due to an adjacent massive housing development. The sliver lining of that project is that access to the eastern side of the map will be much easier from paved roads, after the project is completed.
This area has frequent off-leash dogwalking, and still sees an occasional moto visitor (although dirt bikes are no long permitted). Cell phone signal / GPS can be poor in certain areas of the map, and some of the trails have vastly different elevation profiles on the ground versus as depicted on the map (all the "Roll" trails, for example).
Night riding is enjoyable here, and easy to access.
Well worth the visit, Lind Farm is a very enjoyable riding area that is very different than other nearby areas. Come get better at Lind Farm With a smile, of course.
