Little Switzerland is a grassroots park built by a dedicated team of riders at Nordic Mountain. After opening only twice in 2014, the resort garnered the support of enough passionate riders to make it a "write-in" winner for the number-three spot in the MTBparks Riders' Choice Awards for the midwest in that first year. Thanks to that same base of riders, Little Switzerland dominated the polls in 2015 to secure the number one spot.
