Louzanpark – Adventure Sports Centre, is a project by Montanha Clube with the direct support of Adxtur and Lousã Municipality.
The Baldios da Lousã, Vilarinho and Candal are important partners, as they played a fundamental role in achieving the approval of the mountain biking and off-road trails in Serra da Lousã, as well as the ICNF, resulting in this also for both better management of your spaces.
Serra da Lousã, known as being one of the best for the practice of the so-called adventure sports, suffered until now, from a gap in terms of information supply, since there was no place with the same concentration, which would simplify the visitors coming.
Louzanpark intends to occupy this space and become a reference in the dissemination and promotion of adventure sports, which Serra da Lousã has to offer. In addition to this dissemination, we also count on making known and promoting the gastronomy, customs and traditions of Serra da Lousã, which is certainly an asset for local tourism.
The Aldeias do Xisto BTT Center is included in the project, which also has a support infrastructure for practitioners installed in the village of Cacilhas, next to the main access to the Schist Villages, being also one of the main gateways to the mountain.
The space will be prepared to offer a set of services, including toilets, changing rooms, bike and motorcycle washing, bar, self-service mini-workshop, room for presentations/training, transport service and guides, among others.
In the near future, and also part of Louzanpark, Montanha Clube intends to create a mountain bike school, with the aim of promoting the sport among the youngest.

      -PT-
