The Madison Range offers monster backcountry rides, amazing scenery. It also offers solitude, despite having Big Sky and the resort to the north, and Hebgen Lake to the south. This is the place to go for the longest, wildest, toughest rides in Montana. The adjacent Lee Metcalf Wilderness hosts one of the densest grizzly bear populations in the lower 48, so be bear aware and ride in groups.
