This is the best mountain biking destination in Taranaki. There's approx. 30km's of track ranging from Grades 1-6. Its clay-based soils so best ridden in the dry.

There's a map board at the car park entrance and at a few locations around the park. The trails entrances and exits are generally well marked as the trails are one-way.

A trail map available from the New Plymouth Mountain Bikers website (https://npmtb.co.nz/our-trails/)

For jumps there are two machine-built trails at the front of the park, Mandatory Power Play and the steeper Stumpies Mayhem. Good flow trails are Sweet Spot, Track the Ripper, Anti-Climbax, Highway to Hell, Giant's Hit Storm and Cashflow (+ Extention). Some more techy downhills include Slam City, Buzzcut, No2 DH, BB Sizzler, Twisted Sister, Piggy Bank and Debt Collector. For the big air go check out Hendrix, Operator and Dozer Ridge. XC trails include Outhouse, Slice of Heaven, Lawsons Loop, Ara Hoki , Kahori Tau, Pork Pie, and Snakes and Ladders.
