SaveDirectly across from Jackson Park on Rosemar Road is the entrance to the McDonough Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is a 277-acre wildlife area, managed by the Vienna Department of Parks and Recreation. The park is open from dawn till dusk 7 days a week.
You may see many different types of wildlife including: white-tailed deer, turkey, red and gray fox, and coyote. Migratory waterfowl inhabit two ponds within the refuge. All trails are clearly marked and easy to follow.
