Trail Flow (Ridden Direction)
Trailforks scans users ridelogs to determine the most popular direction each trail is ridden. A good flowing trail network will have most trails flowing in a single direction according to their intension.
The colour categories are based on what percentage of riders are riding a trail in its intended direction.

This trail network is primarily Spokane County Conservation Land. A portion of the lower access area is on DNR land. Both Evergreen East and WTA are in the process of building trails. The trail network will be evolving over several years. Existing old logging roads can be ridden but most are washed out and steep.

By the end of 2019 build season the shared use trail Upper Saltese Ridge was near completion. The MTB flow trail Silicate Slide was being built in phases. The lowest phase was completed. The top (Upper Silicate Slide) had been fully cut in but not finished. The middle phases (3 & 4) took longer to get routing approval due to water crossings. Portions of these phases had machine work completed in 2019. Construction on these phases has begun in 2020 and as of May the corridor is nearly clear.

There are no single track trails directly from the trail head. The quickest route to single tracks is to take the first right after leaving the trail head. Stay straight on an old road bed when the main road turns right. Follow this road up hill thru an old logging area. At the tree line you'll turn right on another road. After another 1/4 mile will find a trail that will switchback it's way up to the bottom of Silicate Slide.

Access to the Summit of Mica Peak is only available via old Motorcycle trails as the summit itself is owned by the FAA.

Primary access to the trail network is via the Belmont Road trailhead to the West of Mica Peak. Access can be made via Liberty Lake County park but its a long climb on old logging roads towards the summit.

Keep an eye out for updates as additional progress is made on the trails.
