2,575 acre park within 15 minutes of Boston with great flowy open singletrack, interspersed with some hard climbs, quick downhills and fun technical features. Park spans 5 towns (Stoneham, Melrose, Winchester, Malden and Medford) and is bisected into east Fells and west Fells by Rt 93 which runs north-south through the center of the park. Good riding on both sides.Consult the DCR trail map for areas and trails that are closed to biking (including Sklyine trail -- white blazes in west Fells).

Trail gets a lot of use by hikers and joggers (both oftentimes with dogs) as well as bikers, so bikers should be extra cautious and give foot traffic the clear right-of-way to preserve amicability among all users of these great trails.
      Primary Trail Type: Cross-Country
