SaveMiller Point Peace Park is an ideal place for a leisurely scenic walk or family picnic. You can enjoy views of the LaHave River and Horseshoe Cove along the trails as you walk through the towering pines. In the spring, view hundreds of lady slippers and other flora and fauna along the 5 km of walking trails. In the fall, the changing colors are absolutely beautiful. This park has a long history indicated by the remains of stone foundations throughout the site. The trails are all level, smooth, and accessible to walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs. Outdoor washrooms are also available as well as ample parking at the park entrance. The inner parking area is open early Spring to Late Fall.
