Mont du Lac is a privately owned recreation/ski hill. Mountain biking is (currently) free and open to the public and shuttle services are even offered a couple of times each week!

From the Mont du Lac website (June 2015):

"Mountain bikers can enjoy a scenic getaway on our beautiful trail system featuring gorgeous views of Jay Cooke Sate Park and the St. Louis River Valley! Thanks to a close partnership with COGGS, a local bike club, Mont du Lac is able to provide some of the finest mountain biking the area has to offer. Mont du Lac trail systems are FREE to ride with shuttle service offered every Tuesday and Sunday, weather permitting. Upon arrival, all we ask is for riders to register and check-in at our lower chalet for safety purposes."

      Shuttleable: YES
      Access Info:
Lodge at base of hill, or at top of hill.
