      Il monte di Brianza è un gruppo montuoso delimitato a nord dall'abitato di Galbiate, a est dai laghi di Garlate e Olginate e dal fiume Adda, a sud dalla valle della Molgora e a ovest dai torrenti Bevera/Gandaloglio e dal lago di Oggiono.

      Cime principali sono il da nord a sud: il monte Regina (817 mt), il monte Crocione (877 mt) e il monte San Genesio (832 mt).

      Accesso più comodo alla dorsale è la salita all'eremo di San Genesio e al relativo rifugio, ma vi si accede anche dal Muro di Nava e dalla strada di Consonno
