Monte Jouf is a great spot for different kind of riding. The main uphill fire road serves most of the trails. On the low area, starting from Val Piccola zone, the trails are most tech/dh oriented with berms, jumps and rock gardens. On the high zone (up from Val Piccola) trails are more flowy and alpine-oriented. Generally, the ground is always a bit rocky but there are sections on forest where the dirt is mellow with huge roots and surrounded by giant ferns. The trails dry fast and can be rode with rain on all year.
All the stuff can be rode with XC to DH bikes, but the best rig to enjoy the most of the area are AM/Enduro bikes.
Please pay attention to hikers and trail runners.
