This riding area incorporates a number of public reserves including the Signal Station, Cartwright Reserve, Porters Hill, Bicentennial Park, Truganini Conservation Area as well as public land around Hobart College and UTAS. Trails also extend onto some adjacent privately owned land. Linking the trails will sometimes involve road riding on suburban streets. The area has excellent accessibility to residential areas including Taroona, Mt Nelson, Sandy Bay and Dynnyrne. The trails include both fire trails and multi-use single track. The area has the potential to be further developed into a local trail area with a small number of new trails required to enable both short and long circuits, as well as connections to Kingston and Ridgeway Park.
      Primary Trail Type: Cross-Country
