SaveA gem for intermediate to advanced riders in the MetroWest area with some exceptional Enduro and true Downhill riding, Mount Pisgah is home to rocks, roots, cliffs and drops that will have even the most experienced rider clenching their grips for dear life. If you are comfortable with the sounds of that, then this place is for you
Parking on Smith Road is the most popular option for riders, runners, hikers and dog walkers alike. It is also home to a small jump loop that you can work on your hucking skills. If you hop onto the trail here you will need to power through at least 200m of boulders that will have non-suspension bikes begging for mercy. Make it through those and you can find miles of trails to ride higher up the mountain.
Parking on Linden St puts you on a trail near a beautiful pond, this trail is also extremely rock covered and will discourage a lot of new riders, make it through that section and a climb that rivals anything nearby awaits.
Parking on Lyman St puts you on a trail that involves crossing 5 bridges and then climbing up the Eastern side of the Mountain and puts you in really good shape to see some of the more adventurous trails on the South East part of the mountain, as well as sets you up for a fantastic descent either by way of the trail you climbed up or Bennet DH trail. But be warned, there are two Double Black Diamond Trails and Bennet is one of them. They are extreme trails, walking down them is treacherous, so be sure to consider that as you plan your ride.
Mount Pisgah is fantastic place to explore and ride, be sure to consider that a lot of this land a buttes private property so please acknowledge the signs as posted.
Also, don't forget to check out the beautiful look out points at the summit of the mountain for a spectacular view!
