Bike Park Closed for Season. Opens on November 18

For anyone serious about mountain biking Mt Buller is considered a must-do experience. Unique among mountain biking destinations in Australia, Mt Buller offers both world-class cross-country and downhill trails, in the stunning surrounds of the Australian Alps. There is little wonder why the Mt Buller Bike Park is one of Australia’s hottest ride destinations.

Mt Buller Bike Park is home to several firsts in Aussie mountain biking, including Australia’s first flow trail, Copperhead, and the Southern Hemisphere’s first and only IMBA Epic Trail, the infamous 40+km wilderness MTB trail, the Australian Alpine Epic.

The modular Pump Track, made up of 88 interchangeable parts and 102 liner metres of rideable surface is also an Australian first. Featuring numerous bumps, jumps, and berms, the track is ridden using weight shifts, (also known as pumping, hence the name) to ride the course continuously without pedaling and gravity to drive momentum.

From Saturday 31 October 2021 the mountain biking and walking trails progressively reopen. Dust off your bike, pull out the walking shoes and enjoy the fresh air and views across Mt Buller and Mt Stirling and all the way to the valley below.

NOTE: Throughout the Summer of 2021/22 the entire Mt Buller Bike Park will undergo a complete refurbishment thanks to $1.25M from the Victorian Governments 'Regional Tourism Investment Fund'.
This will require ongoing trail closures through November, December, January, February and March. The MTB park will remain open to riders, weekly updates will be provided to TRAILFORKS and the Mt Buller website of all trail closures, with in excess of 100km of trail there will still be plenty of tracks open to shred.
For full details across the works above please head to here
