The North Branch River Park has approximately 5 miles of skiing trails that connect the Montpellier Recreation Fields, Cummings Street, North Branch Nature Center and East Montpelier trails on both the west and the east side of North Street. Trails along the river are groomed wide for skate and classic skiing. The upper trails are narrower and groomed for multi-use. Connect to North Street trails via Sparrow Farm trail for a longer adventure.
Access the park by parking at either North Branch Nature Center or the Montpelier Recreation Fields and Pool parking lot on Elm Street.
Leashed dogs are allowed. Please pack out all trash and animal waste.
