SaveO’Bannon Woods State Park & Harrison / Crawford State Forest is managed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. Our trail network is on both state park and state forest land. Although both property's are divisions on Indiana Department of Natural Resources they operate differently. The biggest difference is the forest property can and will have sections logged between Nov 16th and March March 31st each year.
However all trail care is done by volunteers of the O'Bannon Woods Mountain Biking. The O'Bannon Woods Mountain Biking is made up of both HMBA & Kymba members. You can follow us at https://m.facebook.com/followmeinthewoods for our updates regarding volunteer opportunities.
