SaveThis is the only public mountain biking area in the Midland-Odessa area. The park is an abandoned caliche quarry. The outer loop green trail is mostly flat, with lots of turns. The trails in the middle are of various technical difficulty. Sections of the trail may be closed after rains. Generally, the outer loop is in sand on the south and east portions, and the north portion has some clayey soils overlying a firm carbonate base. In the "Pit" as locals call it, it's all rock. Ebikes are allowed, motor vehicles are prohibited. The outer loop is one direction, counterclockwise; in the pit, the direction may vary depending on conditions. WATCH OUT FOR RATTLESNAKES HELMETS AND MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED!
