      Depuis 2015, le Parc développe un réseau de sentiers de vélo de montagne simple trace destiné aux amateurs de cross-country. Durant l’été 2017, 5,5 km de nouveaux sentiers viendront graduellement s’ajouter aux 4,5 km déjà aménagés en 2015-2016. Puis, en 2018, ce seront 7 km supplémentaires de sentiers de niveau intermédiaire / avancé qui seront ouverts, pour un réseau final d’environ 17 km. En ajoutant ces sentiers de type « single-track » aux 30 km de sentiers multifonctionnels (gravier) déjà existants, nous comptons faire du Parc régional du Massif du Sud une destination incontournable pour la pratique du vélo de montagne.

      Les parcours sont adaptés à la topographie des lieux et mettent en valeur les caractéristiques paysagères de ce secteur, comme la réservé écologique Claude-Melançon et le ruisseau Beaudoin. Ces nouveaux sentiers de type « single-track » viennent compléter le réseau de sentiers multifonctionnels déjà existant.
