      Il Parco Pineta di Tradate e Appiano Gentile, a buon diritto si può considerare tra le più vaste aree lombarde dove praticare mtb, specificatamente XC, e altre attività all'aria aperta. Presenta una cospicua quantità di sentieri generalmente ben tenuti e con difficoltà tecnica medio-bassa, adatti sia a principianti che a bikers più evoluti bisognosi di un'area di allenamento comoda dove inanellare parecchi chilometri su terra. I sentieri spaziano da larghe carrerecce a singletrack con sassi e radici sporgenti. Frequenti sono le ripide e brevi discese e risalite per superare i numerosi valloncelli che caratterizzano l'orografia del Parco, il cui terreno argilloso può presentarsi fangoso dopo le piogge.
      Si raccomanda il massimo rispetto per l'ambiente e gli altri fruitori: escursionisti, runner e cavallerizzi.
