SaveThe Schoolyard Trail System is adjacent to the City of Laramie and is on a section of Wyoming State Trust Land. The Northwest corner has flat trails perfect for kids and beginners, while Lunch Lady will take you around to the East and South sides of the system to hit the more technical trails.
Pilot Hill became publicly accessible in 2020 and the Pilot Hill Project board began the process of planning more trails. Users can now use Pilot Hill to travel from Laramie to the Pole Mountain unit of the Medicine Bow National Forest. Crews are expanding the trail system each summer.
