SavePleasanton ridge offers steep fire road climbs with little shade, but makes the best of it by providing some of the best local (although illegal) singletracks on the way down. The ridge also has a few legal single tracks, but it is comparable to the fireroads in grade and width. Any singletracks that are narrow are either reserved for hiking or equestrians.
