SaveHome to Fat Tracks Mountain Biking Club, the oldest club of its kind in South Africa, the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Region / Port Elizabeth is a veritable hive of mountain biking activity and a premier mountain biking destination.
There are several trail networks and bike parks in and around the city, offering riders of all abilities and biking disciplines a wide variety of trail experiences and options - BMX, cross country, all mountain, downhill and gravel grinding.
The region’s flagship trail network, Baakens Valley in downtown PE, is also home to the Fat Tracks Trail Centre.
All of the trail networks in the Port Elizabeth Region is well-mapped on Trailforks and the maps are actively curated by the Fat Tracks Mountain Bike Club.
