Update 5/20/2018:
Recently there have been conflicts with neighborhood residents over parking on the grass in front of their homes. Areas along Wilinau Rd have been tagged no parking; the NE corner of Wilinau and Makana (on the side of the trailhead) seems to be still allowing parking. Riders have been varying their parking in the neighborhood, or shuttling up from Kamehameha Hwy. If you choose to continue parking in the immediate vicinity please be respectful of the neighborhood.
